Hulkageddon!

It's basicly a fun event. One of those that make you realize how open EVE is...
Thanks to my corpmate Azi' i got into a fleet of guys that wanted to hunt some lazy miners.

Hey, and don't get me wrong. I was and am still a miner at heart, but just sitting in a belt collecting ore gets boring. It's like doing missions, sometime you just want those OMGWTF-moments in a game. And if you only rely on NPCs and CPP storylines, there're no real suprises. Damn, i was SO stoked the first ninja showed up in one of my missions...

So, as a matter of education, we gathered to assault a Mackinaw. Some Catalyst destroyers, a Brutix and...behold...a
VELATOR!!OF DOOM!
Velators are such great ships. Love em. Let me tell you why:
1. FREE
2. FREE wtf!
3. can carry 2x hobgoblin t2s that kick serious ass (as long as you stay alive!)
4. looks funky! seriously, look up close. weird but great. (props to the CCP designers, love ya guys)
5. can carry exotic dancers
6. 2x t2 blasters. like real weapons, i mean you could hurt someone with that if you're not careful!

Sadly, i brought my Catalyst, which i decided had to go cause i dont really use it. Either i use a cheap-ass frigate or my precious Myrmidon. Nope, no Battleships yet. There's a slight skill/money/noobism-issue.

After a fail-fleet-warp-suicide-gank we waited a few minutes...eager to get blown up / blow stuff up.
We warped, i locked my catalysts weapons, fired... 2 cycles plus drones launched. Pewpew... Than my friends warped in: Concord!
I went down, as did most of us, but... one lazy unprepared miner gone! YEHA!

Summary: I lost like 2 million (killpost will follow...maybe), my sec status is now below zero and i'm a serious asshole, pewing harmless miners. Let's do that again!

PS: Plan for next Hulkageddon: a) a fleet of velators. of doom. b) kill miners with a mining ship
